The Rainbow

“I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭9:13-15‬

A rainbow isn’t just something that happens when you get light and water, it’s a promise from God to us that He will never flood the whole world again (see Genesis). But more recently, in the UK at least, it’s become a sign of hope and support!

The rainbows that my sister and I have put up in our windows are beginning to fade (time to create some fresh ones, I think) yet God’s promise of care and love for us never fades.
