‘Daughters of the King’

Rooted is inspired by a magazine my mum subscribed to, called ‘Daughters of the King’, a magazine to encourage Christian girls. It included articles, recipes, poems and book reviews. It was created and edited by Kezia and Rachel Brewer, two home educated sisters. They printed the 32 page magazine from around 1999 to 2011.

I have not been able to find anything like that (in England) now that I am old enough to read it; that’s why Esther, Eden and I decided to take the plunge and create something like that for our generation of girls!

We really enjoyed reading them! 🙂
