Dig In, Rooted

Seek God’s Kingdom

A little while ago, I decided that I should put God first and always read my Bible and pray every day. I thought that would be easy to keep and would be able to fit into my daily schedule. But it wasn’t going as planned. As I made a start of it, I kept trying and trying, some times I would miss some days having time with the Lord in the mornings.

The point I am trying to make is, whether we are young or old, God still wants us to communicate with Him as His children, and tells us to seek His kingdom and His righteousness. Which means to learn about God’s Word and to be closer to God and to learn about God, as well as to do what God’s Word tells.

I am now learning that putting God first is essential if I want to be closer to Him as an individual, learn more about him, and do what He says. There is no short-cut to knowing God.
